1st Virtual Fighter Wing

Welcome to the 1st Virtual Fighter WingHome of the 25th DCS A-10C, 294th F-16 F4-BMS, and 402nd DCS Ka-50 Virtual Squadrons.
We're an internet based virtual fighter wing comprised of individuals from all over the globe that are committed to providing a fun and stable multiplayer environment for flying F4-BMS, DCS A-10, and DCS Black Shark. The 1st Virtual Fighter Wing was founded in 2008 and has seen extensive growth. With over 23,000+ multiplayer hours logged since our inception, we're (still) one of the most active virtual fighter wings on the internet.
The 1st VFW distinguishes itself from other virtual fighter wings by being a completely democratic organization. All wing decisions are decided by our members, including the flight simulators we fly. Currently we support the best combat flight simulators available - DCS A-10C, DCS Ka-50 (Black Shark), and Falcon 4.0: BMS. Our dedicated roster of virtual (and real life) pilots all contribute to weekly flights and training sorties. Regardless of the airframe, all new pilots will go through a Lead-In-Fighter-Training (LIFT) training program before becoming Officers of the 1st VFW and receiving their wings (see the Medals section of our website). These training programs are in place to make sure all new members know the basics and are familiar with our standard operating procedures. Our goal is to balance realistic procedures and tactics with online gameplay and stability. We strive to make everyone better virtual fighter pilots, but we also have fun doing it.
Pilots from all over the world are welcome to join, regardless of their experience. Please feel free to browse through our website.
