    New Hornet Noob checking in

    Hello everyone, my name is James and I'm excited to learn the Hornet with the 1st VFW. I have been playing DCS for about 3 years, solely flying the F-15. I've never flown with or interacted with other players online, so that will be quite new for me. I've watched many videos online to learn the basics of start-up, taxi, take off and landing. Wow, the Hornet is such a different landing experience than the Eagle. I hope to become proficient in navigation, formation flying and the use of ordinance and to follow a detailed syllabus rather than trying to learn it on my own. I look forward to meeting and flying with all of you once I am cleared to do so.

    Thank you everyone for the welcome. Just ordered the Warthog stick, gas and pedals. It's going to be hard to give up my old Logitech Best Buy special, but I know the TM stick will give me more control, especially when landing.
